Improved Smart Pseudoscopic-to-Orthoscopic Conversion Algorithm for Integral Imaging With Pixel Information Averaging

The smart pseudoscopic-to-orthoscopic conversion (SPOC) algorithm can synthesize a new elemental image array (EIA) using the already captured EIA, but only relies on one simulated ray to establish mapping relationship between display pixels and synthetic pixels. This paper improves SPOC proposes average algorithm, which fully considers converging effect of lens ray. In rays start from pixel, pass through upper lower edges corresponding lens, intersect lenses, respectively. Then, value pixel is equivalent pixels, correspond lenses covered by rays. Theoretical analysis points out that effectively alleviate matching error thereby improving accuracy (SEIA) reconstruction effect. According experimental results we get, superiority verified.
